Each year, 10 million people undergo surgery in the NHS. Roughly one in seven will suffer a serious complication that, in hindsight, was predictable.
We aim to build and validate clinical AI across the perioperative pathway — from pre‑op assessment, intraoperative decision support, ITU recovery and longitudinal outcomes, in real NHS settings.
Mixed teams. Every project has oversight from a clinical lead — anaesthetist, surgeon, ODP, nurse or technical staff — with a technical input. We aim for code to be open with reproducible results.
We don't work in silos. We don't chase benchmarks that don't move outcomes. We don't build tools the theatre team won't use on a Monday morning list.
The next decade of perioperative medicine will not be defined by a new drug or a new device. It will be defined by what we do with the data we already collect.
